Sharing for Life

Translate your concern for Israel’s well being into action. While in Israel, donate blood to Magen David Adom.
Sharing for Life, an initiative of the Conference of Presidents, American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA / ARMDI) and Magen David Adom of Israel, encourages visitors to Israel to donate blood to help MDA (Israel’s equivalent of the Red Cross) meet the needs of Israel’s civilians as well as soldiers maintaining security on the front lines. Donating blood is one of the most personal ways to demonstrate concern and solidarity with Israelis. There is a blood supply shortage in Israel, and we encourage individuals and groups to take time to donate blood while visiting. Students over 18 spending the year in Israel can also donate. Regrettably, the rocket attacks in the South continue placing an additional demand on the country's blood supply.
