Conference of Presidents Meets With Jason Greenblatt, Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations

New York, NY

Arthur Stark, Chairman and Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations issued the following statement:

We were honored to host the Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, for meetings with Conference leadership. It was a unique opportunity to explore issues impacting the Middle East and, in particular, the efforts to promote a Palestinian-Israeli peace process. Special Representative Greenblatt afforded us a glimpse into the inner workings of these very complex and important negotiations. It is vital that we understand these complicated issues beyond the news reports and headlines, which often provide a particular perspective or misinformed analysis. We appreciate his openness and willingness to explore these matters, which are of such great interest to the conference and its members. We hope that the dedicated efforts of the team will yield meaningful results as soon as possible.

(L-R Malcolm Hoenlein, Hon. Jason Greenblatt, Arthur Stark)
