Conference of Presidents Congratulates Mike Herzog on Appointment as Ambassador to US

New York, NY

. . . Dianne Lob, Chair, William Daroff, CEO, and Malcolm Hoenlein, Vice Chair of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, issued the following statement:

"We congratulate our longtime friend Mike Herzog on being nominated as the next ambassador of the State of Israel to the United States.

He is a committed public servant whose illustrious career includes military, government, and diplomatic service to the Jewish State. His existing relationships with American officials, and his deep connections to the American Jewish community, provide him with extraordinary credentials for representing Israel in the United States, its greatest friend and ally.

We look forward to the opportunity to formally welcome him to America, as he succeeds Ambassador Gilad Erdan, who has served with distinction and dedication.”
